As colder weather swiftly approaches, and we stow away our crop tops and bro tanks, the time for binge-watching is here. These shows may prove to be even more enjoyable with a Craft dab under your belt (just saying’). If you’re scouring your favorite on-demand streaming site for something to marathon-watch, this list may help. Here are the top 5 shows to binge-watch while high this fall.

Broad City

Formerly a web series, Broad City is now a Comedy Central hit starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson. The series follows the two twenty-something BFFs around NYC through mishap and misadventure. Perpetually broke, but full of “YASS KWEEN”, we think you’ll enjoy the hilarious duo. Abbi and Ilana are Upright Citizens Brigade Theater alums–a theatre co-founded by our favorite funny lady, Amy Poehler. Poehler is also an executive producer for the show that has beloved comedy sketch guest stars such as: Rachel Dratch (SNL), Fred Armisen (SNL), Janeane Garofalo, Amy Sedaris, and more. If you’re looking for a solid weekend of cannabis-infused laughter, this is the show for you.

We all know the story of Pablo Escobar, but Netflix has done a phenomenal job at bringing his meteoric rise (and fall) to life. Narcos brilliantly chronicles the ascent of the cocaine trade in Columbia in the late ‘80s–a time where drug kingpins ruled the land, and corruption was pervasive. The show highlights the actions that were taken by law enforcement as the war on drugs raged on and cocaine became a valuable, and coveted commodity. With three seasons under its belt, there are more than enough episodes to get you through a long weekend.

Game of Thrones
Based off of George R.R. Martin’s book series “A Song of Ice and Fire”–Game of Thrones has all the elements of a binge-watchable show: violence, gore, lust, nudity, scheming, foreboding, family drama, alcoholism, soliloquies, and forbidden romance (think incest). Set in medieval-ish times, this series has kings, queens, knights, and entire families fighting with each other to control the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros to sit atop the Iron Throne. To quote one of the most compelling villains in the series, Cersei Lannister: “When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.” Brace yourself for an epic HBO GO marathon. Dragons fully included.

The Deuce

Another hit graces the HBO stage in the form of The Deuce, a pseudo-fictional drama about the origin of the porn industry in NYC in the 70s. The characters in the series include: pimps, prostitutes, the police, mobsters, twins Vincent and Frankie Martino (both played by James Franco), and a savvy prostitute named Candy (Maggie Gyllenhaal). Intrigued yet? The story also explores the drug epidemic and subsequent violence associated with all the converging factors.

Vice Principals

If you’re looking for a dark comedy series to accompany your high, be sure to check out Vice Principals. Danny McBride and Jody Hill, the team that brought us “Eastbound & Down” bring a hilarious series about high school administrators. North Jackson High School serves as the battleground for the cast of power-hungry vice principals who are vying for the coveted principal spot. The battle rages on after English teacher Dr. Belinda Brown takes the spot, and the former nemeses form an alliance to take her down. If this show doesn’t bring a few guttural laugh riots into your life–we don’t know what will.
